Wildwater Press was founded by author, broadcaster and award-winning erotic artist, John Coles, with support from his wife, Anna, a specialist researcher. They live near the dramatic mountain streams that tumble down their valley, and they have a real interest in publishing new and original art and fiction. They're especially keen to bring to life the work of unpublished women with a unique take on life, and a great story to tell.
We are broad-minded and open to well-written, full-length books (70,000 words plus) in the follow broad genres:
We are not interested in historical, sci-fi, police and crime, YA or childrens.
If you have a great book, but aren't sure if it will fit with us, or it isn't yet fully formed, please email a short descripion and we'll get back to you. Promise!
We are not a vanity publisher, we won't ask you to pay to publish your book, but please remember that we will be highly selective... we are looking to publish just a few really stunning books per year. So if you think your work would attract us, please send your first two or three chapters (or 2,000 to 3,000 words) with an A4 Synopsis of the story, the total word count, and a note about yourself and where you are with the work.
We are nice people, we'll try to get back to you within a month, and we won't be horrid if it isn't quite right for us.

Kerris Cale lives in Cornwall and writes contemporary adult romance, rich with a 'sense of place'. Wildwater Press will be publishing two books by Kerris in the early new year.
John Coles founded Wildwater Press to encourage new, unpublished authors to be bold about bringing their work forward. He's been involved in media production for many years, and his images have been used widely in many books about the arts. He's author of The Edgy Nude, Jenepher Hooper - énigme, Kernow and the Cornish, Covent Garden Market - End of an Era, and A Retrospective of Artists and Creatives. He's a co-author of Neil Ardley - Kaleidoscopes and Rainbows, published in 2023 by Jazz in Britain.
A frank and honest book looking at a particular genre of nude photography - beyond 'art nude', but not pornographic. The book and images helped John win 'Jade Erotic Artist of the Year' and led to a whole series of erotic photo stories.
A fascinating glimpse into the minds of girlfriends who all dated the same man. Each tells their story in their own voice, and the book comes alive as we realise how many of the stories interlink.
A complex story with an ecological twist, told through flashbacks and current events by feisty artist Tasmin ("Call me Taz, I like the electricity in my name.")
Set in London and the far west of Cornwall, we learn more about this woman who loves sex!
